 Then you have come to the right place!  St. Alphonsus Youth Group is an organization for high school students.  The goal of youth group is to foster spiritual, service, and social growth in all high school students.  We realize no one prays all the time, works all the time, or parties all the time, so our youth group attempts to balance these qualities.  St. Alphonsus Youth Group encourages its members to form friendships and grow closer to Jesus by participating in our events, meetings, and activities.

Lisa Opdyke

Lisa Opdyke recently graduated from The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies.  As a student at CUA, Lisa was heavily involved in the campus ministry and student minister program.  Currently, Lisa holds the position of Director of Ministry/Freshman Theology teacher at her High School Alma Mater, Gywnedd Mercy Academy.  She is happy to be taking over the Youth Ministry program at St. Alphonsus Parish.  Laura Crossin
